ASHLIN was founded in 1996 by CEO and owner Linda Botts with just two employees, one being herself. Her commitment to aiding clients and serving the public sector established ASHLIN’s foundation in creating applicable, culturally conscious solutions using data and technology. Fast forward over 20 years and ASHLIN has grown exponentially across the Federal and Private sectors. As the needs of our clients have evolved, so have our areas of expertise. Whether it’s eLearning, data analytics, program management, training, or technical assistance, ASHLIN combines its expertise in data analytics with domain knowledge of its subject matter experts to derive meaningful insights that lead to successful business outcomes.
Linda Botts’ deep commitment to providing high quality consulting services lead her to found ASHLIN in 1996. With over 30 years of experience in corporate leadership, contract administration, financial management, and strategic planning, Mrs. Botts serves as the Corporate Monitor on all ASHLIN contracts to ensure every client’s satisfaction. Prior to establishing ASHLIN in 1996, Mrs. Botts was the Deputy Chief Administration Officer for Health and Human Services Programs in Prince Georges County, Maryland. She has special expertise in developing innovative, culturally competent approaches to bring greater efficiency and productivity to human services programs.
Samuel Botts, Jr. oversees business strategy, new business development, and oversight of ASHLIN’s programs and services to clients. Prior to his role as Chief Operations Officer, Mr. Botts was ASHLIN’s Chief Financial Officer, and was instrumental in developing ASHLIN's Analytics and Learning Management Systems (LMS) divisions. Mr. Botts was instrumental in founding ASHLIN's Analytics and LMS divisions, and serves as Managing Partner of ASHLIN subsidiary, Persona Partners, a marketing and brand development consultancy.
Kevin Allen has over 20 years of experience in the development, growth, and leadership of customer service-driven businesses. Mr. Allen manages Federal, State, and Local government funded contracts for ASHLIN, and provides technical, logistical, and administrative project leadership. His specialty areas include project management, research, technical writing, advisory group and committee management, and large-scale national meeting planning.
Dr. Audrey Theis directs Department of Labor and Job Corps contracts for ASHLIN, assisting with strategic visioning, organizational change, student training approaches, and evaluation. With a PhD in Educational Policy, Planning and Administration, Dr. Theis has over 30 years of experience designing and facilitating collaborative efforts among systems at the governmental, institutional and programmatic levels.
Dominic Berger serves as the IT Manager and Technical Lead for the Digital Learning Platform at ASHLIN. His expertise is in user experience design and the development of highly customizable, state-of-art LMS platforms that meet clients’ specific delivery needs.
Mr. Berger’s work with the CDC-supports workplace wellness platform, Work@Health®, delivered training and technical assistances to hundreds of trainers and employers nationwide.
Dr. Nicholas Hobar has assisted ASHLIN and hundreds of employers to create customized learning management systems for different training audiences. He has delivered both classroom and online professional development programs for the public school, higher education, government, and corporate sectors.
